- Say What To Do, Not What To Avoid: AI models struggle with negative commands like "Don't make it too long." Instead, give positive parameters: "Keep the response under 150 words."
- Feed the AI Examples (Few-Shot Prompting): If you want the AI to write exactly like you, copy and paste two paragraphs of your own past work into the chat. Tell the AI: "Analyze the tone and formatting of the text below, then write the new content matching this exact style."
- Iterate Instead of Restarting: If the first response isn't perfect, do not open a new chat window. Treat the AI like a human colleague and give feedback in the same chat: "Great start, but make the tone slightly more professional and shorten the third bullet point."
